If you download your transcribed reports and edit them in Word instead of the your EMR,
There is a security feature of Word that prevents malicious code from running on your computer when opening documents that it doesn't know where they came from.
Now, there is a workaround to prevent this from happening but we don't recommend it as it is there to protect you and to implement the safest way to workaround this would end up being more work on your end than to just click the Enable Editing bar.
If you just change your computer to open rtf files with Wordpad instead of Word, this will actually solve all of your issues.....
Your .doc and .docx documents will still open in Word, just the RTF files will open in Wordpad;
1. Open your downloads folder
2. Right click on one of the downloaded document and choose Open With
3. If you don't have Wordpad in the list, click the More Apps
4. Click WordPad and make sure to click "Always use this app to open .rtf files"
5. Click OK
Now whenver you open a downloaded from from vScription Transcribe Job Lister, it will open in Wordpad and there will be no hyphenation issues, spacing issues nor protected file warnings.
