vScription Transcribe 2021.4 Update Notes

This update is a minor platform update which adds new features and improves workflow in existing areas. Here is a list of the updates:

New Features and Updates:

Printing of Typed Report Update:

We added the ability to suppress the demographic header when printing reports from the Job lister. Full demographic header can be seen in preview

Added Organization Transcribe Notes to Transcribe:

Added an informational header at the top of the Transcribe page for any notes for typing for the account. ie: "Add PHIN to Job Identifier field" etc... This is configurable per organization for now.

Added Job Identifier Field:

Previously users replied on user defined fields to identify jobs so what we did is define a specific field as Job Identifier and include it in the Job Lister for quick review and access.

Additional Fields Available In Job Lister

We added a fold to the job lister entries so you can view more job fields such as original filename, file type etc.... This includes some minor restyling of the job records. Also, a new label will show when a new job is loaded (within the last 1 day)

iPhone Dictation App:

Full media editing is now available on iPhone app including rewind, fast forward, go to beginning, go to end. Also, overwrite and insert mode are now supported.

Sign Up Changes:

Improved the sign up page to allow the user to select the subscription they want as well as allowing user to review and accept the Terms and Services directly from the signup page instead of eDoc document as before.

API Additions:

We added a few new endpoints such as admin (For System Administrators) and billing (for upcoming billing enhancements)

Other Updates,Changes and Fixes:
  1. Overall styling improvements
  2. Updated first time page tutorials
  3. Fix job type not being selected in dropdown list when loading job in transcribe
  4. Fix Job Lister responsive handling for window resizes
  5. When viewing or downloading a job, page reload doesn't reset pagination meaning that you won't lose your spot.
  6. Backlog and Total Jobs total wasn't refreshing properly when auto refresh was on.
  7. Sometimes users were able to add files greater than the file size limit without warning. Even though they could add files, they weren't able to upload but no error was given.
